Georgia - International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED)
The International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED) is a non-partisan, non-governmental, non-for-profit organization that was established in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1995.
Via central office and five regional offices across the country currently ISFED is working on: Monitoring the Elections; Supporting Local Self-Governance and Reforms in Georgia; Enhancing Civil Society Participation in the Reforms; Protecting Rights of Civil Servants for Politically Neutral and Discrimination - Free Public Service in Georgia.
Over the past fifteen years ISFED has observed all types of elections held in Georgia. Since 2003 ISFED has conducted Parallel Vote Tabulation (PVT) at the nationwide elections in Georgia and used sophisticated technological and software solutions for the data analysis. Starting from 2010, ISFED is administering a web-site Elections Portal (www.electionsportal.ge) that collects election related information from various leading NGOs in Georgia and highlights citizen reported and NGO observed electoral violations.
