Extended second call for LTOs for the ENEMO IEOM mission to Ukraine 2020
The Secretariat of the ENEMO is glad to announce the Call for LTOs for the International Election Observation Mission of the Local Elections in Ukraine, scheduled for 25 October 2020.
Due the situation with global pandemic caused virus COVID 19, the mission will be remote.
There are many risks to factor in, and we are trying to anticipate different possible scenarios with the donors. We thank you in advance for your understanding and flexibility, as the context of the Covid-19 has made planning difficult and uncertain. We remain optimistic however and will do everything we can to ensure the presence of ENEMO this year in the countries where it has planned to observe, furthering its mission to promote free and fair elections.
To become an LTO, please submit a respective application form and send your CV to the email (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Thursday 17th of September 2020 till 00:00 PM (CET). Interviews with the selected candidates are expected to be held the following days after this deadline for submitting applications. Previous experience in monitoring elections (domestic or international missions) preferred, however affiliation to ENEMO member organizations is not obligatory. Also, applications of candidates who are not endorsed by ENEMO member organization are allowed.
Due to restrictions brought forth in Ukrainian law, Russian citizens are not allowed to apply for positions for the mission to Ukraine.
Please bear in mind that the arrangement of the mission and its scale are still under discussion with our donors. Since that is the case, ENEMO retains the right to withdraw the call if some major changes occur. This is also the reason why it may happen that number of the positions may be reduced.
